To keep from becoming frustrated with your puppy as he/she develops into a dog, it is very important to recognize the developmental stages that all dogs go through. If you key in and give proper socialization and stimuli, you can have a loving friend for life. Many puppies are discarded at the time when they need love and attention the most, which is very sad. Because puppies often need mid-day playtime while you are at work, do consider getting a petsitter to help them get rid of that pent up energy and have a potty break.
